In Kerala, the birthplace of Ayurveda, tulåh is reimagining the way we care for our health. More than a wellness retreat, tulåh is a sanctuary where modern medicine, regenerative science and ancient healing traditions come together to support healthier, longer and more meaningful lives.
Its philosophy is both simple and profound: true healthcare should begin long before illness appears. Whether the objective is to optimise health, restore vitality, support recovery or navigate more complex health concerns, every journey at tulåh is shaped around the individual—recognising that no two people share the same biology, lifestyle, experiences or aspirations.
Set within a tranquil estate in Kerala, tulåh offers just 35 beautifully designed rooms and suites, creating an intimate environment where every guest receives a highly personalised level of care.

At tulåh, personalisation begins well before the guest reaches the sanctuary. An at-home testing kit is sent for genome and microbiome assessments, followed by a detailed pre-arrival consultation with a tulåh physician. This conversation explores the guest’s medical history, current concerns, lifestyle patterns and future health goals, allowing the multidisciplinary team to begin preparing the journey in advance.
On arrival, further assessments and advanced diagnostics are interpreted through the proprietary tulåh Life Index™. The index creates a comprehensive picture of the guest’s physical, metabolic, mental and emotional wellbeing across key markers, which may include cardiovascular health, inflammation, gut health, lifestyle risk and overall quality of life.
Rather than examining individual symptoms in isolation, tulåh seeks to understand the complete person. These insights form the starting point from which a deeply personalised programme is created.

Every stay at tulåh is shaped through one of two signature pathways.
Designed for guests seeking prevention, balance and lifestyle recalibration, the Wellness Journey focuses on supporting long-term vitality and healthier everyday living. It may be suited to those looking to improve energy, manage stress, strengthen resilience, support healthy ageing or gain a deeper understanding of their overall wellbeing.
The Clinical Journey has been developed for guests with more specialised requirements. It may support recovery, chronic health concerns, cardio-respiratory needs, auto-immune balance, neuro-rehabilitation and other areas requiring greater clinical oversight and multidisciplinary expertise.
The pathway, programme and treatments are personalised after careful assessment by the tulåh medical and wellness teams.

One of tulåh’s defining differences is the breadth of expertise involved in each guest’s journey. Every programme is guided by a multidisciplinary team whose knowledge spans:
This integrated approach allows the team to look beyond a single symptom, treatment or healing tradition. Instead, modern diagnostics and medical knowledge are thoughtfully combined with time-honoured systems of wellbeing to create a programme that responds to the guest as a whole.
For more complex requirements, guests also have access to over 200 specialists through JCI-accredited Meitra Hospital, tulåh’s sister institution located approximately 20 minutes from the sanctuary.

Healing is influenced not only by treatments and medical expertise, but also by the environment in which it takes place. Throughout the sanctuary, nature, architecture and thoughtful hospitality come together to create a sense of privacy, calm and connection.
The sanctuary includes 35 rooms and suites, 14 therapy areas, restorative pools, a sonorium, restaurants, a medicinal garden and dedicated facilities for tennis, padel, pickleball and cycling. These spaces allow each day to move naturally between consultations, therapies, nourishing cuisine, physical activity and moments of stillness. The experience is structured around the guest’s individual programme, while retaining the warmth, comfort and attention to detail expected from an exceptional retreat.

At tulåh, departure is not considered the end of the journey. A structured post-departure programme extends the continuity of care after guests return home. Depending on the individual programme, this may include:
This continued engagement helps guests translate what they have experienced at tulah into practical and sustainable changes in everyday life. The objective is not simply to provide a temporary sense of renewal, but to create the knowledge, support and momentum for lasting transformation.

tulåh represents a more thoughtful and integrated vision of health.
More than a stay, tulåh is the beginning of a deeper relationship with one’s health.
